If I just have a mild case of pink eye, is it acceptable to wear contacts on the 4th day just for 2-3 hours? I have some formal functions to go to all week and
glasses really aren't part of my plan!

A few weeks ago I had pink eye... I went to the eye doctor and got prescription eye drops and eventually the pink eye went away. However, my eyelid, which
became slightly swollen when I had pink eye, hasn't gone completely back to normal yet. It feels and looks slightly swollen and sometimes I notice a bit of
dry looking skin on it. How can I get it to go back to normal?

Ive been to an eye doctor before, as well as my physician, and no one seems to offer me help. My eye doctor told me there is nothing he could do to help my eyes, and the redness is normal, yet no one else experiences these problems, and no one else has to carry around Visine in their pockets every day. My physician told me its caused by my allergies, yet ive been on many different allergy medicines for years now, and none help my eyes. I often wonder why my eyes cant be white like everyone...
