uppereyelids puffiness! Plz help! |
Lead | |
|
Hi i was curious if anyone has ever experienced this with their eyes.. I normally have puffy eyes under eye area, but now about five days ago a strange thing happened to my eyes... my upper eyelids are now puffy instead of my under eye area. Normally i wake up with undereye puffiness but now its upper eye lid puffiness and it looks swollen. and now it looks like i've never suffered any undereye puffiness my whole life. Its as if the puffiness transferred itself to my uppereye lids. So can anyone help me out here? Im worried to death that this will be permanent, I even went for a blood test this morning ( will get back with the results) No one in my family has ever had this happen to them and im just kind of freakin out here because I usually take great care of my skin and now this! I dont think it could be allergies beacuse its not red or itchy at all. soo the only think i think it might be it I ate alot of salty popcorn and i dont drink a whole lot of water... but it still does not explain the puffiness from under eye to upper eye area. Im 36 years old but I look 25 and I dont have a single wrinkle on my skin, im not overweight, and im not on any medications. I must say that its nice to wake up with no puffiness under my eyes... But its the uppper eye puffiness I have to deal with now! can anyone help me out here? thankyou!

wel seems like you in teh same boat as me but ive the major sweeling in the low eye lids and ive been going to doctors for 8 months now and they have almost given up, they dont know anything about this and ive been tested for everything literaly 9 blood tests x rays urine samples allergies the whole 9 yards and so far i have found nothing that can help BUT for me its fluid retention so gravity puls on it so later in teh day i look better but when i go to sleep it all redistributes over my eyelids and my upper lids and lower lids are much worse when i wak up.
for you tho the best advice i can give is that mayeb you should take some antihistimines for 2 weeks to rule out allergies and also try to sleep on your right side and see if the fluid will accumulate to your othere eye becase waht ever side you sleep on is there the fluid goes and maybe try sleeping with your head elivated so fluid will go away from your lids and look a bit better So it seems what we have is pretty rare if you got any questions OR if fidn any DOCTOR with any information plz email me at DSB_Biesok@hotmail.com i know it F***ing sucks to have this |

hi im 19 years old and i have been experiencing the same thing for like 3 or 4 months now off and on. Some days when i wake up my eyes will be okay and then most of the time when i wake up my upper eyelids will be puffy and all red and it looks like i have really bad dark circles under my eyes and i get enough sleep. It also seems like it varies from one eye to the next. Ive tried sleeping with my head elevated and sleeping on different sides to see if thats what causing it but still it didnt work. I have been to 3 different doctors for this and they just act like im crazy. Im sooo frustrated because i want to be a makeup artist and it affects my practing when i cant do my makeup. Ive been tested for allergies and they are not even that bad. Ive taken allegy meds for 2 weeks straight and all they did was make me tired and drowsy. I NEED a solution fast because its ruining my self confidence. I think next im going to try reducing my intake of salt and drink alot more water and see if that helps but i already drink all water and nothing else..oh well if anyone has the same and finds a remedy PLEASE let me know.

hello, im 19 as well and have recently been worried about the circle lines are my eyes. Thus while watching a programm about reason why some people have puffy eyes. I found out that one of the reasons were heredirty. However sleep and other factors as you all proberly know are seen as reasons for eyes circles. Where as a rememedy is concerned, it was also recommended that taking a supplement that included the nutrient- Omega 3 (usually found in fish- samen). And they argued that it was a lake of vital nutrients shuch as omega 3 that results in the increase in puffy eyes. So the best thing i think is to sleep, by samen or get a supplement with omega 3 in it. and go for a healty diet. good luck guys;-);

Hello,
I too am having a bout with puffy under eyes. Did you mean to say Omega 3 increases puffiness? I like everyone else have tried a lot of things to remedy the problem. I want to try the Omega 3 idea but I'm unclear about your information. Thank you. |
